Aghh! Everytime I renew my EvE subscription, Egosoft releases some massive new update to X3 to steal my attention! This happens all the time ; it can't be a coincidence. They're watching me.... Anyhoo.... Update 3.0 for X3: Terran Conflict The "superbox" has also been released. Got to admire Egosoft. The game is quite long in the tooth, but they still are adding stuff. Hopefully, we will soon hear what their next space sim is going to be as this officially concludes...

Looks like the next Sims game will be a medieval kingdom simulator:   The Sims Medieval   This might be the first Sims game that catches my interest.  A medieval setting could offer lots of interesting gameplay.

I stumbled across this game yesterday and I've got to admit that it sounds interesting.  I really like the look of the battles, sort of like a mix between C&C and World in Conflict with a little SupCom thrown in. Even though I am tired of RTS games, the mix of two different genres - RTS and MMO gaming - could prove fun...or a terrible mess.  Guess we'll see in 2011!
